Koyas Hospital, established by the late Dr. Mohammed in 1945, is located in Feroke, Calicut. In 1972, Dr. M.A. Koya, the only son of Dr. Mohammed, assumed leadership of the hospital. Driven by zeal, enthusiasm, and professional dedication, the young Dr. Koya progressively expanded the hospital over the years. He introduced new departments, state-of-the-art equipment, and advanced machinery, transforming the hospital into a modern, efficient facility offering comprehensive treatment to patients. The hospital now includes GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) medical checkup facilities and provides inpatient care with 100 beds.

In the mid-1940s, an ex-Army doctor who had served in Burma returned to his native Kerala. When he discovered Perinthalmanna, then a quiet village nestled against majestic mountains, he knew he had found his new home. This marked the beginning of Ramdas Clinic and Nursing Home. In 1946, Dr. Madampath Sankunni Nair (MS Nair) established a one-room clinic next to his residence. Aware of the limited medical facilities in the area, he committed himself to providing care and comfort wherever it was needed, often at little to no cost. Dr. Nair would personally visit the homes of those unable to come to him, becoming a beacon of hope for the people of Perinthalmanna. With the support of his sons, the clinic gradually expanded from its humble beginnings into a 150-bed multi-specialty hospital. Despite its growth, the hospital has remained true to its founding principle: delivering care without prioritizing commerce.
